Ms Leyton-Palma graduated from a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Melbourne in 2002 and was admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia in 2003. Ms Leyton-Palma has recently completed her Masters in Law, specialising in family law.
Over the years she has acquired specialist knowledge in all areas of family law. She represents clients in complex parenting disputes, including those involving family violence and mental health conditions. She also deals with complex property disputes involving large and complex pools of assets such as family trusts, self managed superannuation funds, company shares, investment properties and other assets.
She also has vast experience in probate, wills and powers of attorney.
Ms Leyton-Palma has worked for one of Melbourne’s most prestigious law firms in the CBD as well as for the Victorian State Government.
She has successfully represented clients in the State and Federal jurisdictions earning her respect among her clients and peers.

Ms Patricia Leyton-Palma is an experienced legal practitioner admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia in 2016. Patricia has been a valued team member of our practice since her admission to practice. Patricia’s dedication and desire to gain further experience in wills and probate led her to work in prestigious legal practices in the CBD to later return to Leyton-Palma Lawyers to apply and offer her experience to our local community.
Patricia also has acquired experience in family law and has represented our many clients in complex parenting and property disputes.
Patricia is also the sister of Ms Doris Leyton-Palma. Both her and Ms Doris Leyton-Palma value and understand the need to care for and protect the ‘family unit’ and are proud to support you in your matter.
